2nd March 2025 Hiking - Walking: The Grove at Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Foggy,frosty start then sunny with light winds Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sunday 2nd - walk ** – The Grove at Felixstowe – Foggy start then sunny with light winds. Same as yesterday, woke to a frosty, foggy morning which quickly cleared leaving wall to wall sunshine with a brilliant blue sky. We have plans for an early start tomorrow to make the most of another foggy morning and as we had to do a big shop we did not have any plans for today other than avoid the seafront which will be heaving! So I did my exercises in the back garden, with the breeze light it actually felt nice and warm, Mag sorted out some wire to fix her new plants too before sorting through our 45’s (singles) we have just got down from the loft, there are some crackers too that might be worth a bob or two??? After a lunch of homemade soup we set off to Lidl but first head over to the woods at The Grove for a nice quiet walk in the woods spotting a few robins, some snowdrops and a calling buzzard overhead but it was a tad on the muddy side! I then drove down to Felixstowe Ferry to take a few pics of the lovely sunset:) Photo Album here |
